Current painting in progress is by hand under an old Land Rover. The spray job will not happen till summer which will be a clear UV blocking lacquer over the aluminium and probably silver over the steel. I may experiment with chrome paint on plastic.
The white and yellow on the van will need blasting in places and a re-spray in a year or so as rust gradually shows through. The vehicle has been stripped to metal with fluting, sills and door bottoms replaced, but new gutters would be a good idea.
